Content Removal Requests

Our response commitments

• Acknowledgement within 24 hours for every request, by email to the address you provide.
• Possible minors and non-consensual content are urgent: we aim to restrict the reported content within 24 hours of receiving the report while we investigate, and to remove it permanently if the report is confirmed. Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the authorities.
• Copyright and impersonation: we aim to complete our review within 7 days and will notify the uploader, who may respond.
• We will tell you the outcome and the reason for it.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police first (999 or 112 in Kenya).

What to include

• The full link (URL) to each profile, photo, video or post.
• Why it should be removed — for example, that you are the person shown and did not consent.
• For copyright: identify the original work, where it was first published, and confirm you own it or are authorised to act for the owner.
• You do not need to send copies of intimate images. We only need links to content on HookupAI.

We use the information you give only to handle your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share your identity with the uploader for consent or minor-safety reports. For copyright notices, the uploader may be told the name of the rights holder.
